Here Is Why You Should Thank God for All the Closed Doors!

Life is definitely a hallway of doors.

You take one step forward. Next, you take another. Then, you notice a door and knock on it. If the door opens, you should go through. But, if it does not open, just move on. You shouldn’t force any door to open. You shouldn’t also freak out about which door opens or does not.

Don’t make it so complicated. Don’t pile on your insecurities, fears, or experience. You shouldn’t be paralyzed or collapsed in front of a closed door. You shouldn’t be depressed or destitute. You shouldn’t give up.

Remember that when God does shut a door, He does open a window. So, thank Him for all the closed doors. Trust in God with all your heart. In all your ways acknowledge God and He’ll make your paths straight.

Thank Him for redirecting you to something better. Thank Him for the detours as they led you to better place that you never knew existed. Thank Him for keeping you from stepping in places, which weren’t meant for you. Thank Him for not letting you settle for second best since He has something better and bigger for you.

Thank Him for all the No’s. Thank Him for the times you got rejected as well as the times He forced you to let go of the things you wanted most as now you know they weren’t right. Today, you know you are better off without those things. Today, you know that God was trying to teach you how to be patient since the big ‘YES’ is on the way and it’s the reason why you heard all the No’s. Today, you know exactly what you want and deserve.

Thank Him for all the roadblocks. Thank Him for steering your life in a different direction. Thank Him for letting you realize that there is always more than one destination to go to. Thank Him for letting you realize that there is always more than one way to take. Thank Him for letting you realize that there is always more than one life for you to live. Thank Him for trying to take you to the place you can call home. Thank Him for trying to guide you where to go.

Thank Him for all the goodbyes and endings. Thank Him for giving you the courage and the strength to end things, which weren’t meant for you. Thank Him for removing some people from your life as they will probably break your heart. Thank Him for ending things in your life even when you weren’t ready as He was trying to prepare you for something better. Thank Him for helping you detach from everything that brought you down. Thank Him for all the sad endings since He was trying to prepare you for a happy one.

Remember that God has great things planned for you. You should thank Him for closing doors since He is about to open better ones.
